When Sam Walton opened the doors to the first Walmart in 1962, his goal was to save people money so they can live better. Sam was a firm believer in listening to what his customers had to say. That tradition continues today. But now, it doesn’t have to end when you leave the store. Through Facebook, we’re able to talk to you. Find out what’s on your mind and let you know what we’re up to. It’s just another way we’re working to give the millions of families who shop at Walmart more of what they love—ways to save money and live better.

Whether your office needs paper and pencils, calculators, art supplies or a complete redesign including state-of-the-art fully ergonomic office furnishings, you've come to the right place! Beginning as “The Lettershop” in 1948, WOS has grown to be the region’s largest, locally-owned retailer of office products in Southwest Virginia. For almost 50 years, visitors have made it a "point" to see Wytheville's Main Street landmark. The late John Campbell Findlay (the original owner of Wytheville Office Supply) had the "Big Pencil" constructed in the early 60's. Made of metal, it is approximately 30 feet long. Over the years it has had a number of facelifts to keep it in pristine condition. Recently, in the Washington Post the syndicated comic strip "Zippy" by Bill Griffith, featured the "Big Pencil".
